It’s officially summer and because of that, I know that there are many daytime hikes in my near future. I always grew up hiking with my family, but honestly I never enjoyed it! Why? One word: Bugs. Over the years I have grown to enjoy hiking and nature, despite the bugs, and now I take any chance I get to get out and enjoy the outdoors. I love hiking because it’s not only a great form of exercise and relaxation, but it’s also a way for me to reflect on all of the memories I have hiking as a kid. It’s really special to me, and I can’t wait to take my future kids hiking one day!
This spot is my favorite spot to hike to here in Eastern Pennsylvania. It’s tucked away in the woods and not many people know about it, so it’s always a nice, quiet hike. It’s absolutely break-taking! The way the sun shines onto the water and trees makes it look like a painting. I could sit here all day. Maybe one day I’ll take a hammock with me. Now that would be a relaxing trip all together.
For every hiking trip I take, I always need my backpack full of essentials. My hiking essentials might not look like a pro-hiker’s essentials, as I typically only go on a few hour trip hike.

Mountain Valley Spring Water is my new favorite water to have on hand during a hike. It’s important to stay hydrated at all times, but especially during physical activity in the summertime, as it’s easier to grow faint in warmer weather.Since Mountain Valley Spring Water was established 1871, it rises naturally to the surface of the earth where it is bottled – untouched.
Mountain Valley Spring Water is natural American spring water that has a unique blend of minerals that provide a refreshing and crisp taste, while remaining naturally ionized and sodium free. It’s also easy on digestion, as it helps offset the stress of modern acidic diets. Foodies and chefs all over rave about this spring water.
I love the fact that Mountain Valley Spring Water has the option to come in glass bottles and lightweight plastic bottles. I personally am a fan of these glass bottles, as I can further put the bottle to good use as a flower vase or some other DIY product. The bottles come in a variety of sizes, single or multi-serve, which makes it convenient to have on a hike. Mountain Valley Spring Water also comes in sparkling flavors like Lime Twist and Blackberry Pomegranate. They’re absolutely delicious and have the perfect amount of carbonation and flavor to them.
You can grab yourself some Mountain Valley Spring Water at your nearest Whole Foods! Easy and convenient.
