Hey everyone! I hope your week is going great, but I hope this coming weekend will be even greater for you! Thanks for stopping by today. 🙂 I'm really looking forward to sharing this post with you.
Just the other morning, when I was getting ready for the day, I was trying to think of some new content ideas to share here on the blog. While I love sharing all kinds of content on self-care, style, social media/blogging, and intentional lifestyle, I also love sharing bits and pieces of my personal life on here. Over the past few years of blogging here at Coffee With Summer, some of my most popular and most read posts are my personal ones. So, I started to think of new ways to share more of my personal life on here and that's when I came up with today's post.
Today, I want to revisit some personal posts that I have written in the past. This is a round-up of posts that talk about the joys in life, but also the sorrows. These are some posts that I think every dedicated reader of CWS would enjoy to read, as they give some insight to my story - who I am!
PAST POSTS THAT MAKE UP WHO I AM:
Depression & Faith: My Spiritual Journey Through // For years I have heard a certain myth about Christians suffering from depression and it has always frustrated me. I am very passionate about standing up to false accusations of depression and mental illness, so I decided I would write a blunt, honest, and personal post about it.
My Quarter-Life Crisis: Raw & Real // First off...yes, a quarter-life crisis is a very real thing. Second off...they can be quite sucky and discouraging. I'm just being honest here. I tried my best to describe what I went thought/still am going through with my quarter-life crisis.
My Story Is Not Over // I have struggled with mental illness for about ten years now, and the journey is not easy. In this post, I opened up about my struggle with self-harm. My story is not over. Your story is not over. I am over 5 years clean. Praise be to God alone!
My Mother Didn't Come To My Wedding // Yes, you read that right. Mental illness can be extremely crippling. In this post, I shared how I struggled with anger and confusion with this situation, but I also shared how I chose to forgive my mom.
Things You May Not Know About Me // I decided to shake things up and share a fun post about random facts you might not know about me. It was a ton of fun to write! So, if you want to know more about me and my weird quirks, this post is a must-read.
24th Birthday Q&A // You asked, and I answered! For my 24th birthday, I answered 24 questions that you all asked me. It was by far the most refreshing post I had written in a long time! It contains questions about blogging to some of my favorite things.
10 Things I Learned As A Nanny // I was a nanny for 4 years and just recently, due to the move, had to leave my nanny family. After nannying for so long, I learned way more than I ever thought I would. While I learned way, way more than all of this, these were the top things that were hugely important and meaningful to me.
Why I Decided To Pursue Blogging Seriously // Blogging is one of my greatest passions, and I'm so glad that I decided to pursue it as a profession. Aside from blogging being a source of income for me, here are a list of reasons why I decided to make the jump to blogging seriously.
My 2 Year Blogiversary // Last July was my 2nd Blogiversary! While this post was a celebration, I also shared a lot about my entire blogging journey as a whole. I shared about how I started on Tumblr and how my passion for authenticity grew there, all the way to sharing about how I decided to start Coffee With Summer.
