When Michael and I moved into our home, we knew we were going to need to get a new bed and mattress for our guest room, as the old one we had wasn’t going to fit in the room. Just a few days after talking about what mattress we were going to buy, Wayfair reached out to me to see if I’d be interested in reviewing their new Nora Mattress, and of course, I said yes.
Michael and I decided that we’d get the Full size Nora Mattress for our guest room. It’s the perfect size for the room and it’s still cozy enough for two people to sleep and cuddle in.
A couple weeks later, we received The Nora Mattress in mail.
Right when it got delivered, I asked Michael to take my photo standing next to the box, as the box was about an inch taller than me, haha! Being 4’11” is fun sometimes. Also, can we take a moment to acknowledge Juniper’s hilarious face here? She’s such a ham!
Unboxing the mattress is easy. Once you slip the mattress out of the box, simply unroll the mattress and take the plastic covering off. Since the mattress comes compressed in the box, it takes a little bit of time to expand to its full size. It took about 30 minutes for ours to fully expand.
The second we noticed it was all ready to go, Michael and I both decided to give it a go. We literally laid there for 10 minutes wondering why we didn’t just get a replacement for our mattress, haha. It was so comfy! It’s the perfect amount of firm and cloud-like, so that you’re comfortable and relaxed.
The day we took the mattress out of the box was the day our first guests were coming to stay with us a few days. Aside from our 10 minutes enjoying the rest, our guests were the first to get a full night’s rest from it. They both enjoyed it and said it was actually in the market of what they’re looking for out of a mattress.
The Nora Mattress is 12″ thick and is composed of four layers, all encased in a cool cover woven with the gemstone jade. The jade elements offer natural cooling properties. The layers of memory foam, cooling foam, and support foam help to contour your body to reduce motion disturbance. There’s also a gel infusion that helps regulate body temperature throughout the night. The Nora Mattress is hypoallergenic, too!
After our guests had left, I decided to try out the mattress for myself for a few days. One of the perks of working from home is being able to take a nap whenever I need one! 😉
Friends, I genuinely love, love, LOVE The Nora Mattress. It’s everything I look for in a mattress and I’m not just saying that. It’s firm, yet cozy, which is just what I look for in a mattress. A mattress that’s too firm can leave you feeling uncomfortable. A mattress that’s too soft can make you feel like you’re sinking. The Nora Mattress is the perfect in-between.
Honestly, the best part for me is the cooling features that it has. As someone who’s always really warm, it’s important to me that I stay cool and cozy throughout the night. Can you tell that I want one to replace our mattress? haha!
If you’re in the market for a new mattress or for a new mattress for your guest room, I highly recommend The Nora Mattress! Nervous to buy a mattress online? No need to worry – you can try The Nora Mattress for up to 100 nights. If you’re not in love with it, you can return it for a full refund. To top it all off, Nora’s backed by a 10-year warranty.
