Even for those who are great at keeping self-care a priority in their lives can sometimes get busy and lose sight of those practices. I know where that’s where I have been lately.
With trying to find rest and new creativity in the process, I thought I’d share some of my favorite ways to practice self-care when it’s needed the most.
8 SIMPLE SELF-CARE TIPS FOR BLOGGERS & CREATIVES:
Declutter Regularly // The important of decluttering is SO huge when it comes to staying organized and less stressed. Clean out your email inbox, your office space, your photos on your phone – anything that may be or could causing you stress at some point – just clear it all out. This doesn’t have to be an everyday thing, but if you pick something to declutter every week that you use often, you will experience less stress.
Take A Day Or Two Off // As a blogger and creative, I know that often times I can be running on motivation of my dreams and hustling hard from excitement so much that I forget to just take a break. While yes, it’s important to chase after our dreams with all that we are, it’s just as important to take breaks when we need them. I always seem to learn this the hard way. Anyone else with me there?
Turn All Social Media Off For A Day // Turn OFF social media! Yes, I get it – social media is kind of a creative’s heartbeat, but I promise you, you can survive without it for at least a day. It’s amazing how renewed you can feel from taking just a day’s break from social media. Unplugging is a huge key when it comes to staying inspired. When you’re unplugged from the online world, you’re more in tune with what’s really around you – life.
