Yesterday was one of those mentally stretching, emotionally overwhelming and physically exhausting days. You ever have some of those? You feel like a whirl wind, all over the place and you’re not quite sure if you’ll find any moments of rest anytime soon. Days like these happen and we must learn how to accept that and press on despite all chaos.
Today, I wanted to share some words that can sound cliche because they’re spoken so often, but the realness to them is refreshing and uplifting to the soul when found seriously. Let yourself reflect and be encouraged.
You don’t have to do it all.
Don’t be so hard on yourself.
Get out of your own way.
Don’t worry about what you can’t control.
Stop and smell the roses (or coffee). Appreciate what’s all around you.
Stay true to yourself.
Be proud of yourself + remember to celebrate the tiny steps.
Sometimes you have to put yourself first.
There is a silver lining.
Things take time.
Choose positivity.
Today is not forever.
