I am asked almost daily about where I shop for Taya so I decided it was finally time to put together an entire post about it! If you’re looking for where to buy cute and unique baby girl clothes which you can place on your baby’s coat hangers, you’re going to love all of these.
The style that I love on Taya is a good mix of bohemian, darling, unique, simple yet fun. I know, that’s a range of almost everything. 😉 We definitely gravitate more towards muted neutrals, earth tones, and pastel pinks. Bright colors are not our thing. Just personal preference!
where I shop for cute baby girl clothes
Kate Quinn – I fell in love with Kate Quinn Shop baby clothing before Taya was even born. KQ is by far one of the most affordable places to get baby clothes online, especially when you factor in the quality, natural materials, unique colors and prints, and so much more. Taya’s closet is probably 80-85% Kate Quinn. The photo above is just a handful of gorgeous styles that we love!
Our favorite Kate Quinn material is bamboo. It’s super soft and stretchy. It’s so stretchy that most babies can really get good use out of one size for a long time. Taya is 11 months at the moment and still fits 3-6 month bamboo at KQ. Kate Quinn got extremely popular over the past year due to quarantine so a lot does sell out quickly. TJ Maxx – Okay, TJ Maxx is so underrated in the baby girl clothes department! They carry a range of brands that have gorgeous colors and prints that aren’t super bright. Some of the brands I reach for most at TJ Maxx are Jessica Simpson, Shabby Chic, Tahari, Savannah, and Dylan & Abby. I have the best luck in-store but you can always find some adorable pieces online!
Target – Target is another great affordable option, especially when you score a good find on clearance! Target can totally be hit or miss for cute clothes depending on the season. We usually gravitate towards the Cat & Jack brand most. Cloud Island has some cute pieces but they’re usually very bright, so they’re more for “play” for us. Carter’s brand at Target (Just One You) is good for basics.
Amazon – Most of the time when I shop on Amazon for baby clothes it’s because I’m looking for something specific. For example, the adorable bubble romper that Taya’s wearing in the photo above was only $15.99! Such a good price in comparison to some small shops where similar styles can be priced anywhere from $40 – $80. I do my best to shop ethically but I’m also on a budget, so sometimes I have to go with the cheaper option.
When it comes to shopping for baby clothes on Amazon, it takes a lot of hunting and research to find the good stuff. In the future, I’ll share some of my Amazon favorites for baby clothes.
Side note: Some popular boutiques like Reverie Threads and Lucky Panda Kids literally carry the same pieces found on Amazon but they jack up the prices like crazy. I’m all about supporting small shops but these pieces are usually from China, so Amazon pricing is more in line with the quality, rather than the upped boutique pricing. Just keeping it real!!
Modern Daisy Co – I love, love, love retro and hippie-inspired graphic tees (and onesies) and Modern Daisy Co is definitely our go-to! They always have cute seasonal and holiday pieces. The “natural” color that they print on is my personal favorite! Use code: TAYA15 for 15% off your order!
Old Navy – Old Navy might not fit “unique” but they have really stepped up their game in the baby clothes department. Old Navy is where I usually where I shop for basic bottoms for Taya. The ballerina fit jeans are the best! Their clearance finds are incredible, too. I’m talking $2 bodysuits, $7 outfits – incredible! I definitely think Old Navy has some of the best zipper sleepers out there – they’re our personal favorite! Don’t count out Old Navy.
THRIFTING! I love shopping secondhand when I’m able to. Kid to Kid and Once Upon A Child are two places I’ve scored some great finds from brands I love. Thrifting has always been worth the bit of extra work and searching.

Poshmark – Poshmark is also a great place to find gently used and new baby clothes, especially if you know what brands you already love. I buy secondhand on Poshmark and I sell, too! I have scored some amazing deals on higher-end baby clothes that I won’t buy brand new because of their prices. There are always great Rylee + Cru, Quincy Mae, and many other baby brands finds on there. If you love the brand but don’t want to spend as much as retail, try Poshmark.
Save $10 (a free $10 to use) when you sign-up for Poshmark with my code: SUMMER_TELBAN 🙂 I do list some of Taya’s clothes when she outgrows them.
