Jace is now 3 months old which means he’s happy and smiling all during his wake windows. So, I look forward to his wake windows when we play together or when his big sis joins in! We recently got the VTech® Kick & Score Playgym™ along with a couple of other VTech® baby toys. Jace loves music and sound, so he’s really taking to playtime when we have his VTech® Kick & Score Playgym out for some fun.
The VTech® Kick & Score Playgym is perfect from birth and toddlerhood. It’s a multi-stage, developmental play gym and mat that really helps Jace work toward achieving motor-skill milestones. It’s great for tummy time to strengthen core muscles and neck strength. The activity panel lights up and teaches colors, shapes, and animals, and it also detaches for entertaining play on the go.
Jace can easily kick the light-up buttons to hear animal sounds, music, and more. We have the plush soccer ball and medals hung from the activity panel to encourage even more kicking and movement. His favorite feature is definitely the giraffe mobile with dangling shapes. It’s absolutely adorable!
As Jace grows and hits developmental milestones like sitting up and walking, he’ll be able to play with the play gym even more. He’ll be able to press the activity panel buttons with his hands and explore the counting flip cards on his own.
As a mama who’s fully expecting to be a sports mom in some way, I love that the play gym has an athletic theme. Once Jace is walking (and running) around, the plush soccer ball will be fun for him to learn how to kick into the soccer goal. Big sis Taya already figured this out so I know she’ll love to teach him when it’s time. Kick and score!
The VTech® Turtle’s Busy Day Soft Book and their Turn and Learn Ferris Wheel are some other great baby toys.
We love a good soft book and the VTech® Turtle’s Busy Day Soft Book is a great one for us to reach for now that Jace is starting to engage with books. It has seven interactive pages, a light-up music button, and three animal tabs to hear animal sounds and more. This is a sensory-filled book for babies to touch and see different colors and textures.
The VTech® Turn and Learn Ferris Wheel is engaging for babies 6 months and older. Since Jace isn’t quite at that age yet, Taya got to show him how he’ll be able to play with it in the near future. It has a suction cup on the bottom of it which makes it the perfect option for playtime while seated in a highchair.
Enjoy little moments and big milestones with VTech Baby! If you’re a new parent or are heading to a baby shower soon, check out these VTech Baby toys!
