Before attending the event, Ulta Beauty sent me a fun package in the mail with tons of beauty goodies! I was through the roof when I received this package because it contained all of my favorite beauty brands that can be found at Ulta Beauty. I’ll be sharing a look at all of those products on my Instagram Stories later today (and they’ll be found in my Unboxings Highlight).
I got to attend the VIP hour before the College Fashion Week officially began and it was such a cool experience! Right after I registered and got in the door, I headed right for the Ulta Beauty Bar. The first Ulta Beauty stylist I worked with was Jerwin! He was super cool and it was a ton of fun getting my hair styled by him. He decided to give me some simple waterfall braids wrapping around the crown of my head.
I love waterfall braids because they’re elegant, yet simple. Now… to learn how to do them myself! 😉
After my hair was finished being styled, it was time to give my eye makeup a fresh look! I was out in the city all day before heading to the event so my eyes definitely needed to be livened back up again. I got to work with Natalie, one of Ulta Beauty’s makeup artists! She was the sweetest thing and I loved the look she gave me. I wanted to keep to a neutral eye look but I wanted it darkened up just a little bit and she did just that. I was so happy with it! It was stunning.
I had an absolute blast at the Ulta Beauty Bar! The really awesome thing was that their beauty bar was open to everyone who was attending the event, completely complimentary! What girl wouldn’t love some hair and makeup touch-ups done by the Ulta Beauty Design Team? 🙂 They were incredible.
