Hey, friends! It’s been a hot minute since I last shared an in-depth post about some of my favorite makeup products. I’m definitely not a beauty blogger but I love makeup.
I’m often asked about what makeup I use so I figured I’d throw together a post on all of my favorites. I have been using many of these for years and years, but some are recently discovered favorites. There’s a mix of drugstore brands and higher-end brands. So without further ado, here we go!
MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE MAKEUP PRODUCTS:
Tatcha The Silk Canvas Protective Primer – I got this primer via an Influenster VoxBox last fall and after unboxing it on Instagram Stories, I had a few followers reach out and tell me that it was their favorite primer ever. Previously to trying the Tatcha Silk Canvas Primer out for myself, I had never had a primer that I swore by. I have oily skin and for some reason, I just never found a primer that really worked for me… until this one. The first time I tried it out, I fell in love instantly. It’s extremely soft and it smoothed out all uneven texture on my face. I thought it was too good to be true at first but it wasn’t. Ever since it has been my go-to primer! It doesn’t make my skin more oily at all. In fact, I really believe it’s helped with oil control for me. It’s incredible!
It’s good for all skin types so if you haven’t found a holy grail primer yet, this one is 100% worth trying out. Here’s the mini version!
It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream – I don’t use the term “holy grail” lightly, friends. So when I say something is a holy grail of mine, it truly is. And this CC+ Cream is my holy grail foundation! I have been using this for 4 years now and I’m still so happy with it. I struggle with hormonal acne, especially being postpartum, and I also have some scarring from the past. So, for me, a full-coverage foundation is a must. This CC+ Cream is extremely lightweight so it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing a typical full-coverage foundation. It color-corrects, hydrates, and it protects with 50+ SPF mineral sunscreen.
If you’re in need of a full-coverage but lightweight foundation, you will love this one. I use the shade “Fair” for every day and shade “Light” when I have self-tanner on.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer – This is another all-time favorite that I have been using for years. It works wonder all over but especially for the bags under my eyes. A little goes a very long way so this stuff lasts a good while. The wear is durable as it lasts all day and it has a matte finish but not one that feels dry, in my opinion. It wears well over foundation or on its own. I have tried many, many concealers over the years and this is the best one I’ve used. It’s so worth it! “Light Neutral” is the shade I use and I use “Light Medium” when I have self-tanner on.
Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer – I’m not a huge contouring type of girl so I typically only reach for a little bronzer and the PF Butter Bronzer is absolute LOVE. I use the original shade “Bronzer” and it gives the perfect natural glow with a bit of definition. I usually apply it as I would contour just under my cheekbones and on my forehead near my hairline. Again, I am not a makeup artist or beauty expert lol! I actually have a limited edition PF Butter Collection and all of the bronzers that came in it (and that I’ve used) are incredible. The pigment is great, its long-wear, looks natural, and the scent is like a tropical vacation. A must-try!
Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara – This has been a go-to since my college years! I have really short lashes so mascara is always a must for me. I need something that lengthens, curls, and gives volume and the Lash Sensational Mascara does all of the above. I have tried the waterproof version a couple of times but I wasn’t a huge fan of the formula. Side note – I’m not a huge fan of anything waterproof. Just my experience! But the original is incredible. I think the wand is a huge part of why I’m so in love with the mascara.
Wet N Wild Mega Length Mascara – If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw my IG Stories where I was raving about how incredible this mascara is. I have been using it for about 3 months now. I decided to try it out on a whim when I needed to hit the free shipping minimum for Target. It’s only $2.99 and it had surprisingly great reviews, so I figured I’d give it a go. Friends… it is incredible. In my experience, it is better than some of the high-end mascaras that I have used over the years. And for $2.99?! Ummm, yes. Please. It lengthens, separates the lashes well, volumizes, and wears really well. I was (and still kinda am) shocked at this find!
I think it’s comparable to the Buxom Lash Mascara, which is another favorite mascara of mine. Can you tell mascara is one of my favorite kinds of products to explore? 😉
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush – The first time I ever used this blush was because it was my birthday gift from Sephora one year. I ended up really loving it so I’ve purchased and used it a few times over the years. The shade “Exposed” is what I use because it looks really natural.

ELF Instant Lift Brow Pencil – My eyebrows are naturally pretty full so I don’t have to spend too much time on them. I do fill them in a little bit with a brow pencil. I’ve tried many brow pencils over the years but I keep coming back to this one by ELF. I use the “Taupe” shade. It’s a twist-up brow pencil and the fact that it’s thicker than most other brow pencils is a huge part of why I love it. Many brow pencils are so thin that they’ll break with even the tiniest amount of pressure. You can’t beat the price of this one – just $2!
Tarte Sex Kitten Liquid Eyeliner – It’s crazy for me to think back to when I never wore liquid eyeliner because it’s the only eyeliner I’ll wear now. The Tarte Sex Kitten Liquid Eyeliner is by far the BEST I have ever used. It applies easily, doesn’t bleed, lasts long, and just looks incredible. It’s worth the $20 in my opinion. If you’re looking for a comparable drugstore version, the Maybelline Eye Studio Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner is a great one to try.
ELF Matte Magic Mist & Set Spray – A few years back, I tried out a ton of different setting spray brands. I always end up coming back to this affordable setting spray by ELF. I have used the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray in the past and to be honest, I can’t tell much of a difference between that one and this one. That’s just my personal experience!
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder – As I mentioned before, I have oily skin, especially in my T-zone area. Setting powders never worked for me so I never wanted to spend a ton of money on trying any high-end brands. I ended up getting a PR gift from Laura Mercier about a year ago and it included this setting powder and WOW, it’s been life-changing. It still works incredibly for my skin and doesn’t cake at all on me. The best!
Pixi MatteLast Liquid Lipstick – A matte lipstick that doesn’t dry out my lips is something that’ll always make my heart happy. I wore this matte liquid lipstick from Pixi all throughout my pregnancy. This formula is long-lasting and well-pigmented. The shades “Matte Beige” and “Pastel Petal” are the shades I have and love.
Revlon Kiss Balm Lip Balm – If you love a good tinted lip balm that’s no fuss, this is for you! I decided to try it out last summer because I wanted some color on my lips but nothing too crazy and I fell in love with this lip balm. The “Berry Burst” color is my favorite! Smells good, too!
