It’s been a long time since I last shared any kind of skincare products that I have been loving. Like, a really, really long time. With it being the start of a new year, I figured now would be the perfect time to share some of the skincare products that I love and use on the daily.
I have a lot of you who’ve reached out to me on Instagram Stories about what products I use and while I do share them there, I wanted to do a full blog post on it.
So, without further ado, let’s get down to the products that I’m TOTALLY raving about lately. 🙂
SKINCARE PRODUCT I’M LOVING:
Dermalogica Clearing Skin Wash // I just recently switched over to trying some of Dermalogica’s acne-clearing skincare products since I deal with adult acne. I have been wanting to try out a new facial wash for a good while now so I chose this one. My verdict? I am loving it so far! It’s extremely gentle and doesn’t irritate my face at all. Its anti-acne blend is of botanical extracts including Licorice, Calendula, Milk Thistle, Lemon Peel, Arnica and Bergamot works with Salicylic Acid to help prevent future breakouts. I’m very happy it comes in such a large bottle because I know I’ll be loving this facial wash for a long time.
The Body Shop Drops Of Youth Liquid Peel // When I tried this liquid peel for the first time, I couldn’t believe HOW much I fell in love with it. It exfoliates and gently peels off impurities from your skin, lifting dead skin cells and residuals. The amount of impurities it literally peeled off my skin had me jaw-dropped, haha. I used it every 2-3 days and it leaves my skin feels incredibly soft.
VII Code T2 Oxygen Eye Cream // The older I get, the more I need to depend on a good eye cream, especially with my busy schedule. VII Code sent me their T2 Oxygen Eye Cream a few weeks ago and I’m already loving the results I’m having. I’m very picky with eye creams and this one is definitely my personal favorite that I’ve ever used. It hydrates and prevents signs of aging (fine lines & wrinkles).
It uses an “exclusive ‘T2’stone mortar extraction process”, which helps facilitate the healing and regeneration of damaged skin cells near the eyes. It’s important to protect this delicate area of the face and this eye cream helps to also fade away the first visible signs of aging.
You only use a very, very small amount after cleansing my face in the morning and before bed. My eyes haven’t had any issues of dryness since starting to use this eye cream – it keeps the entire area moisturized well. One huge perk that I love is that it instantly absorbs with no residue left over. It wears well under my daily makeup, too! I definitely recommend trying this out.
Dermalogica’s Breakout Clearing Emergency Spot Fix // Acne has been a long no-so-nice friend of mine. Even when I’m not near *that time of the month* I’ll still struggle with random breakouts throughout the month. For those times, I’ve been relying on this emergency spot fix acne gel. It’s powerfully concentrated to wipe out bacteria to clear breakouts fast. I have definitely noticed my blemishes diminish pretty well after using. On bad days, I’ll apply it every 6-8 hours, as needed. Love this little yet powerful product!
Flawless Instant & Painless Facial Hair Remover // Let’s be real ladies, we all have that little bit of peach fuzz on our face that’s completely unwanted. Before trying this hair remover, I was completely skeptical! I was scared that the peach fuzz would grow back faster and darker… but it didn’t! This little gem is one of my all-time favorite beauty tools. I use it once a month, maybe twice if I have a special occasion. It is a lifesaver and works so well. I’ve had mine for well over a year now and it’s still going strong. The price? You can’t beat it!

Dermalogica’s Clear Start Hydrating Lotion // During the wintertime, my skin really struggles to stay hydrated and since I struggle with acne, I strive to only use moisturizers that I trust on my skin. I use this skin soothing hydrating lotion every night after I’ve cleansed my face. It helps to keep my skin hydrated during the night all while preventing and clearing up blemishes. It’s a keeper!
Alba Botanica Hawaiian Oil-Free Moisturizer // I received this oil-free moisturizer from Alba Botanica in my InfluenceHer Essentials box for the holidays. I have used it every day since I got it (over a month now) and I have nothing but praises to sing about this moisturizer. This is the moisturizer that I use after cleansing and before applying my makeup. It’s lightweight, absorbs well, keeps my skin hydrated all day, and wears extremely well under makeup. It’s super affordable. I’ll definitely be buying this after I’m out.
