The wintertime can be a rough time for beauty and style, but it doesn’t have to be that way if you have the right winter essentials. In order for me to survive the winter in style and with a health beauty routine, I need my favorite winter essentials.
My essentials are my go-to items and products that I know will never let me down whenever I need them. That’s why I rely on them.
Want in my 7 favorite winter must-haves? Oh, you know you do!
Nail Polish //
I am a lady that always needs to have her nails painted. I naturally flock to neutrals – I’m not really into super bright colors. On the rare occasion, I’ll wear a super hot pink polish…but like I said, that’s pretty rare. In the cooler months, I flock to the grays more than I do any other time of the year. These OPI colors are some of my absolute favorite grays! And when I want my nail polish to last longer, I use Glitterbels gel polish. What are your go-to winter nail polish colors?
Perfume //
This is one of my most favorite perfumes ever. I picked it up at Anthropologie last March as a birthday treat for myself. It has a peachy fragrance, which surely you’d associate with warmer months. But for the winter, I think most of us needs something to perk us up, and that for me is a good scent. I love fruity and fresh scents, so this one is the perfect perfume to brighten me up. It’s sincerely darling.
Cable Knit Infinity Scarf //
Infinity scarves are a must for me for every season, because they’re just that versatile and fabulous. For the cooler months, I love a warm and cozy scarf. This cable knit infinity scarf that I got from Stitch Fix has become my absolute favorite scarf in just the few weeks I have had it. You need to get one.
Sweater Leggings //
First off, I am a huge advocate for leggings. I love them and basically live in them. These sweater leggings that I picked up at Kohl’s are seriously the most cozy sweater leggings I have come across so far. Plus, the pattern on this pair is seriously adorable. I’m not one for crazy patterns – I don’t stray too far from my typical stripes, but I just couldn’t resist getting them. They’re on clearance right now – grab them while you can!
Cozy Crew Socks //
My feet are pretty much always cold, whether I realize it or not. Because of this, it’s very important to me to have cozy socks for the winter. This pair I found in the Target dollar section back at the start of winter. I wish I picked up more – they’re comfy and always keeping my feet nice and toasty when I need them to be the most.
Cable Knit Sweater //
This sweater has been my go-to all season long. I love the neutral feel it has and the bit of marled black it has at the bottom. Want to know where I got this beauty? My sweater swap buddy! I love hosting a sweater swap each year (hoping to make it an annual thing), and my buddy this year seriously nailed it! This cable knit coziness is from GAP.
Vaseline Lip Therapy //
You guys, my lips get real chapped in the wintertime and sometimes they can even crack. Talk about super ouch! I am so glad to be teaming up with Vaseline as they just launched their new Lip Therapy Tins in the U.S. at Target. I am seriously raving about them, as they help hydrate and protect my lips from being dry and chapped. There’s just something about pink that gets me in the spirit of love around Valentine’s Day, which is a big reason why I have been loving Vaseline’s Rosy Lips version. You want healthy and hydrated lips on Valentine’s Day, right? You need to grab this for yourself, ladies! My husband is a huge fan of Vaseline’s Orginial Lip Therapy. Since I just down-sized my purse, I need go-to’s that can easily fit into my smaller purse. This is another huge reason why I love these tins – they’re super compact. Be sure to pick some up at Target or on Target.com as soon as you can.
What are some of your winter beauty must-haves? What are some things you just can’t live without in the winter? From cozy sweaters, to Vaseline’s Lip Therapy tins, to a hot cup of coffee… Let me in. I want to know what keeps you going during the winter months!
Disclosure: Thank you to Vaseline for sponsoring this post. I only share brands that I actually use and love myself, and of course, that I think you’ll love, as well.
