4th Of July Outfit

Happy Wednesday, friends! I hope your week is going fantastic, and that you’re getting everything done that’s on your to-do list for the week. 🙂

I’m really excited to be sharing today’s outfit post with you all, as it’s all about my favorite holiday! The 4th of July!

The 4th of July is my favorite holiday, as it’s a day of celebration for our freedom here in The United States. I am proud to be an American, but even more so, I’m honored to be an American. Here in America, we are free!! I am so thankful for those who made a way for our nation to have the freedom that we do today.

While I praise God for my freedom here in America, my heart also breaks and goes out to the countries that are suffering and don’t get to experience the freedom that I have here.

Another reason why the 4th of July is so important to me is, because it also resembles the freedom that I have through Jesus Christ. If it wasn’t for his sacrifice on the cross, I would never be able to experience the grace, the joy, and the freedom that I do today.

For me, the 4th of July is a sacred reminder that true love is sacrifice.

I love getting all patriotic with my outfits for the 4th of July every year. I usually end up wearing red, white, and blue for the entire general 4th of July season, haha. I just love it.

As I was on the hunt for the perfect patriotic outfit, I came across this adorable off-the-shoulder top. Off-the-shoulder tops are all of the rave right now and for good reason. They’re classy, darling, and trendy. While I’m someone who doesn’t really care about trends, I’m shocked that I got sucked into this one. These tops are so cute, though! How can you not love them?

Tassels have also been all the rave lately, but honestly, I was never a fan. When I saw this top, I became curious to change my mind, and I’m glad that I did. These tassels aren’t too busy or crazy; they add just the right amount of flare without going over the top.

Pairing this top with dark-wash denim shorts simply made sense. They’re basically a match made in heaven, haha!
