Hey, hey there! WOW! I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve posted something new for you… but it’s only been a couple of days, haha. Friends, life has been SO crazy over here for me… that’s why I haven’t kept to my *usual* posting schedule here. To be honest, I was beating myself up over it at first, but then I remembered that it’s okay to take a step back when needed. I have a lot of behind-the-scenes going on here at CWS, so even if I’m not pushing out new content all of the time, I still have a TON I’m working on. I’ll share more all about that soon!
Anyway! It’s time to talk timeless fashion over here. If you’ve been here for a while, you already know that I’m all about casual and practical style. Today we’re chatting all about one of my favorite outfits ever that can be casual or sassy – a black top and jeans. There are so many different outfits you can put together with just those two basic pieces.
I don’t know about you but I have many, many block tops in my closet – from basic tees to more sassy tops, like the one I’m sharing here today!
This kind of look is my typical go-to for pretty much any kind of everyday wear. From running errands to a night out to grab drinks, you’re 98% likely to find me in a nice pair of denim skinnies and a black top. It’s timeless and classy.
I think the main reason why I end up reaching for these pieces and similar ones is that I always feel confident and most like myself in them. I’m not huge into bright colors at all – I’m definitely a neutral girl at heart, with an enormous love of black clothing. 😉
You can never go wrong with wearing black! The fact that it’s slimming is another major plus for me, haha.
