What’s up, CWS fam?! I hope you had a super rad weekend. I had a busy weekend filled with content prep, working around the house, and running errands. Speaking of running errands, you already know that I’m all about casual athleisure looks. Though, lately, I have changed out my typical athletic leggings for denim. This year I’m really hoping to expand my personal style a bit more. I’m still going to keep it casual because I’m about being comfortable and intentional, but instead of wearing the same looks all of the time, I want to switch it up!
… And that’s what I did! Today’s outfit is one that I’m completely obsessed with. I don’t use the word “obsessed” often, so when I say it, I mean it.
So, something about me that you might not know and will take you by surprise… I feel most myself when I’m wearing an outfit that is edgy. I don’t know if it’s because this love was birthed during my teenage angst years, my taste in rock music, or what but I just feel alive when I’m dressed edgy. 😉
THE OUTFIT:
To combine my love for athleisure and edgy looks, I put together this rockin’ look! It’s super easy to recreate and make your own.
If you haven’t noticed already, I wear my adidas Superstar Shoes all of the time. They’re stylish, on-trend, and most importantly to me, they are comfortable! They pair well with so many different outfits from athleisure, to sporty, to edgy. I wear these shoes for running errands, casual dates, shopping, and every time I travel. I don’t ever have to worry about my feet hurting because the support they give is incredible.
I just recently purchased this hat (see similar here) and it just adds the perfect casual touch to this look. I’m usually not a hat girl but the second I tried this one on, I knew I had to make it mine and rock it out. It definitely completes the look, doesn’t it?
Pair those two adidas must-haves together with black, distressed denim, a basic tee, and a jacket, and you’re golden. 😉
Honestly, there are so many different reasons why I reach for adidas apparel. But, when it comes to fashion, I have to admit that the fact that their apparel is completely versatile is the reason why I will always keep coming back to them.
