Hey, hey! It’s Monday! Gosh, life has been wearing me out lately. There’s so much going on with the house… moving into your very own home is a very joyful experience, but it’s definitely a stressful one, as well. Michael and I both have been so busy lately, making it extremely hard to find time to unpack. But, we’re hanging in there.
I think the holiday season is giving me extra joy and energy to keep on pressing through all the stress I’m experiencing. Christmas lights, holiday candle scents, and this stunning, gold blazer from Evy’s Tree are just a few of the things keeping my heart beating fast this season.
FRIENDS! Can we just talk about how gorgeous The Abbey Jacket is from Evy’s Tree? This is by far one of the most unique statement pieces I own. It’s all the glitz and glam you could ever want, especially for the holiday season.
The Abbey Jacket is any lady’s dream! The sequins on the jacket are two-sided and reversible. How neat is that? I swipe my hand up on the sequins, and it gives me the shiny gold side. I swipe my hand down on the sequins, it gives me the matte champagne color. I get to choose how much glam or elegance I’m wanting. I have never owned a piece like this before and I’m still in shock how versatile this piece is.
In these photos, I have most of the bright gold sequins showing. I seriously can’t get enough of them! When I wear the jacket with the gold side showing, I feel like I’m back in my dance years. Even though I love neutrals and calm pieces, I have been a dancer my entire life. You know what that means, right? I can’t not love sequins, glitz, and glamor!
For my holiday glam outfit, I knew the second I saw this jacket that I needed to pair it with a black dress. Black is always classic and classy… and that means it’s the perfect color to pair with any kind of sequins number.
During the holiday season, most ladies love to stray to reds and greens for makeup looks. But my gals, let’s not forget that pink is always in style! Yes, even during the holidays and especially for New Years!

This jacket doesn’t have sequin detailing on the sides of the jacket under your arms. This was designed like this on purpose, so you don’t experience any uncomfortable chaffing and scratching. It features Ponte knit side insets and is fully lined with chiffon. The front lapels drape elegantly and the cinched-in waist makes for the perfect modern fit.
The sleeves are 3/4 length, but since I’m petite and have super short arms, it’s full-length on me. I actually really love it like that. For complete sizing reference, I’m wearing an XS.
I’m going to be wearing this exact outfit to my husband’s staff Christmas party later this week. For New Years, I’m planning on wearing this jacket with a pair of distressed skinny jeans, a white tee, and these heels. There’s really so much flexibility on how to make this piece your own. Dress it up and dress it down – it’s always sure to impress.
