Hey, beauties! I hope you’re having a fab week so far. I have been SO eager to share this leopard print dress outfit all fall season long. I finally was able to get around to shooting photos in it this weekend. YAY!
Even though I’m currently (26 weeks) pregnant, I still aim to find non-maternity pieces for a couple of different reasons. 1. I want to continue to provide great pieces that are non-maternity for those of you who are not pregnant! 2. Since I typically fit juniors – petite size clothing, it’s proving difficult to find maternity clothes that actually fit my short frame. I’ve been quite lucky so far to stick to lots of clothing that I have had for years and so far when I buy new, I just size up one size. It’s been a journey for sure!
Anyway, now that I’ve gotten that spiel over with, I found this darling leopard print dress when I was about 18 weeks pregnant. I had the tiniest baby bump ever but it was to the point where my jeans wouldn’t fit anymore. I wanted to find a simple dress to wear to church and I found this one. It was a “thank God!!” moment because I had been looking all over.
I found this Knit T-Shirt Dress at American Eagle and pretty much fell in love with it the moment I saw it. I tried it on – it fit perfectly! It has a fair amount of stretch to it so I knew I’d get away with wearing it for a bit as my baby bump grew.
It’s made of a knitted cotton blend and is extremely comfortable. It’s short sleeves with a tiny amount of lettuce edge detailing. It definitely runs true to size. My pre-pregnancy size is an XS and that’s the size I’m wearing. So, so comfortable!
It’s ON SALE right now for only $15.98! Ah, yep. No joke. It’s still available online in sizes XXS – XL, so snag it while you can. It is a great staple piece for fall and honestly, I’m considering leopard print a neutral at this point. 😉 I’m a tad bit obsessed.
The same dress also comes in the color rust and is still available in all sizes: XXS – XXL online. It is also on sale for $15.98 right now. 🙂
Now it’s time to talk about this coat (or what my sweet friend, Stephanie, calls “the coatigan”. Last winter, I saw this Chicwish coat for the first time but in wine red and I fell in LOVE with it. The style, the cut, and the fact that it’s lightweight yet still really warm just grabbed my attention from the start. So, I got it in the wine red color and wow, it had me swooning!
I loved it so much that I knew I wanted to snag it in a neutral color this year so that I could wear it more often. This coat comes in pink, gray, wine, and linen. I went with the linen shade and am really happy that I did. I thought it paired perfectly with this leopard print dress, too!
The coat has folded cuffs but I did cuff it one more time over to fit my arms better. It is 100% acrylic and has faux pockets. It’s truly a great piece that is all about versatility and you already know how much I love versatile pieces. 😉 You can easily dress the coat up or you can wear it casually. In my opinion, it’s a must-have for every woman!
And guess what? It is currently ON SALE for over 40% off its original price. You can love this piece for yourself for just $39.90. So worth it!
TO COMPLETE THE OUTFIT…
I grabbed my favorite pair of black heeled booties and loved how they pulled together the entire look. Unfortunately, these are no longer sold but I’ll be linking to some similar finds for you in the shop the post widget. I also added one of my favorite pairs of earrings from Nickel & Suede – these are also no longer sold but N&S’s Onyx Suede Leather Earrings are pretty much the exact same. 🙂 To bring everything together, I went with a red lip (“Burnt Cherry”) and let’s be real, you can’t go wrong with a red lip!
