Happy Monday! How are you doing? How was your weekend? I hope the weather is nice where you are. The weather was stunning at the end of last week here in the Poconos. It’s about time! Up until last week, we were still struggling with the 40s and 50s, so you can imagine how glad I am to have the warmer weather creeping in.
With the warmer weather here, I’m breaking out the short, sandals, and cute tops. Cold shoulder tops have been all the rave over the past year. To be honest, I wasn’t a fan of them at first, but after finding one that fit great last summer, I was won over. Just last week, I went on the hunt for a couple new tops for the warmer seasons. I went to T.J. Maxx and I found this adorable cold shoulder tank-top!
I’m not one who’s typically drawn to clothing with color. You’ll usually find me in black, gray, white, or any other neutrals. But in the spring and summer, I do try to challenge myself to wear some color! The second I saw this peach cold shoulder tank top, I knew I had to have it.
And I love it! It’s definitely a new favorite item of mine. You bet it’s going to get it’s fair share of days out and about, especially on weekend adventures and trips.
There’s just something extra flattering about this cold shoulder tank-top. It’s feminine and dainty, which was really why it drew me in. The cold shoulder sleeves are ties that you can adjust to your preference, which was an extra perfect perk as to why I should make it my own.
WHAT I’M WEARING:
- Distressed Denim Shorts // Distressed denim shorts are my favorite kind of shorts ever. I’m forever obsessed with the shorts from American Eagle. They’re stretchy and comfortable, and perfect for any warm weather activities.
- Cognac Strappy Sandals // I love, love cognac. There’s just something so simple and darling about the color. I just picked up a new pair of cognac strappy sandals from Target the other day. My feet are small, so I got mine in the youth section, haha. But here are the same ones in women’s!
- Hybrid Smartwatch From Fossil // This is the Q Accomplice in luggage leather – isn’t it gorgeous? I love the fact that this watch can be worn with almost anything. It’s perfect for fitting into any style that I wear during these warmer months. It’s my new favorite accessory.
Oh my gosh! It’s time for a little fun fact of sorts. So, I don’t know if you have noticed or not, but my hair is parted down the middle for the first time in a long time. How long is a long time exactly? 10 years! I pretty much started parting my hair to the side in the 9th grade and until this day (when I got my photos done), it had never been parted in the middle since, haha.
I don’t know what struck me to part my hair down the middle that day, but I think that I like it so far. I don’t know – maybe it’s because it’s something fresh and different. What do you think? Should I give it a go for awhile? Tell me below!
