Can you believe Valentine’s Day is TOMORROW?! I can’t believe it. I’m sure you’ve seen tons of awesome outfit inspiration from some fashion bloggers already, but now it’s my turn to share with you what I’ll be wearing on Valentine’s Day! The best part? It’s easy to recreate and put your own spin on!
By now you should know that I’m all about creating outfits to share with you that are simple, classy, comfortable… and best of all, easy to recreate and make your own. Most fashion bloggers flock to the classy outfits with all of the pinks, reds, and florals for Valentine’s Day. I think that’s awesome, but that’s just not me. Though, I do love wearing a bold red top or dress once in a while, since that’s my husband’s favorite color. 😉
My Valentine’s Day outfit for this year is casual and simple, but it also has a bit of an edgy and sassy flare to it. This is me. 100%.
I saw this top at American Eagle when it first came out, but since I’m a huge bargain shopper, I decided to hold off on getting it until it went on sale. I ended up forgetting about the top!
… Well, only up until about a month ago when I found it on thredUP! The second I saw it and it was in my size, I quickly added it to my cart. It had to be mine! Finally! This sleeveless top’s retail price was $35. What did I score it for? $9.99! That’s 71% off the original price. SCORE. I’m definitely glad I held out and found it again.
This top is 25% comfortable, 25% edgy, 25% sassy, 25% sexy. I just love it.

Don’t worry, I’m going to keep this outfit more realistic for a Pocono Mountain’s February (aka lots of snow and a biting chill), haha. I decided to throw this marled black & gray cardigan over my top and I just love how it pairs with the entire outfit. The marled texture really gives the entire ensemble character.
To keep my overall look a bit edgier, I decided to break out my favorite distressed, light wash jeggings. Listen, jeggings are how I roll. I don’t think I own a pair of actual denim material jeans, haha. Jeggings bring me life, haha. They’re comfortable and stylish.
What did I go with for shoes? My black pumps, of course! Perfect for keeping it classy and fun.
