Hey there, CWS fam! I know many of you have been waiting for all of the details on Jace’s nursery and today is the day. 🙂
While I shared some sneak peeks of Jace’s nursery decor, I decided to hold off on sharing the entire nursery reveal until he was born. My reason for this was that his name was in quite a bit of decor and we kept his name a secret until after he was born.
As soon as we found out that baby #2 was a boy, I knew right away that I wanted to go with an earthy color scheme for his room. I’m not huge into nursery themes since I believe colors are more timeless than a specific theme. Though, I did end up gravitating toward a subtle-ish bear and moon theme. Taya’s “animal” was a bunny and she’s my sunshine girl… so we went with a bear as Jace’s animal and he’s my moonbeam. Super cool sidenote – One of Jace’s name meanings is “moon”… I had loved his name for years and had no clue that was one of its meanings until we decide 100% that was his name. Cool, right? 😍
Anyway! I took my time collecting inspiration and decor pieces and I am VERY happy with the finished product. I hope you’re able to get some inspiration from it! As always, everything will be linked throughout the post and at the end. Let’s get right to it!

EARTHY BABY BOY NURSERY
Jace’s name sign was one of the first decor pieces I picked out because it’s the main focal piece in the nursery. I absolutely loved the outline look of this font and knew it was perfect! I highly recommend this shop on Etsy – incredible work, reasonable prices, and extremely fast free shipping.
The crib is the IKEA “Sundvik” Crib in white and it’s the same one we used with Taya. It has two mattress height options and is currently on the highest option. The rocking chair is Michael’s from when he was a baby. How sweet is that? When my mother-in-law texted me a picture of it, I knew we had to add it to Jace’s room. I’m super sentimental with this kind of stuff! Taya loves rocking in it.
The “Long Live Boyhood” canvas banner is from one of my favorite small shops with a mission – Imani Collective. How cute is the bunting on this wall? It’s a cotton-linen bunting banner with the perfect collection of earthy colors. I love how a piece so simple can really make a wall come to life.
I had so much fun creating this little corner space. We love cube storage in our home because it’s affordable and practical for our lifestyle. I have some storage cubes filled with extra diapers, wipes, and other baby essentials. The bear basket has extra baby blankets stored inside. I have pacifiers and some teethers stored in this glass container and pacifier clips in the basket next to it.
This corner has quite a bit of bear decor but the most special piece is the teddy bear. This teddy bear was Michael’s “bear bear” as a baby. How sweet, right?
Jace’s name sign was custom from this Etsy shop. It was perfect for his hospital announcement photos! I went with the 6 x 6-inch size option. I loved the two different fonts used.
We are huge fans of the Hatch Rest sound machine, so of course, we added one to Jace’s nursery. In fact… we have a Hatch Rest in every bedroom because we love it so much!
I had my eye on this rattan basket from IKEA and had to grab it. The size of it is great and it houses blankets, swaddles, loveys, and stuffed animals. I found this cute stuffed animal bear at T.J. Maxx and the grey star lovey was a must-have! Taya has the same lovey but in the floral version. The moon pillow is from this Etsy shop.
I used a similar accordion-style rack in Taya’s room and had to use one in Jace’s Nursery. It’s a great place to hang my wraps and little decor pieces. I was originally going to hang it behind the door but ended up falling in love with this placement instead. On the wall to the left, behind the glider, I have two prints – a moon print and a “born to be wild” print. The colors in both prints weaved right into the overall color scheme of his nursery.
I used this glider with Taya and am so glad I get to use it in Jace’s space, as well. I’ve already been able to create many sweet memories sitting in this chair, nursing my sweet boy. I also have a Snuggle Me Organic nursing and support pillow – I love it so much more than the Boppy I had used with Taya. It’s also a plus that it resembles a moon! 😉
This beaded crescent moon was the final piece for Jace’s nursery and I was overjoyed that I stumbled across it. I was struggling with what to hang there for the longest time. I ended up finding this piece at Hobby Lobby on a total whim and knew it was just what his space needed.
I got these little shelves at IKEA and they’re actually spice racks. I hung one upside down to use it as a space to hang his clothes when I’m planning out his outfits. I have some similar shelves linked here for you.
I moved the dresser we used for Taya into Jace’s nursery and changed out the knobs. I found these wooden knobs for under $10 on amazon! They turned out great and it was such an easy upgrade. I also decided to use the same changing pad because we loved it so much. I’m telling you… go with a wipeable changing pad if you can. It is way easier to clean than using a classic foam changing pad.
The wooden bear with the yellow vest is a piece someone in my family made for me when I was a baby. I was so happy to be able to incorporate it into Jace’s nursery.
