Taya was overjoyed when we got some happy mail in for her the other day from Moose Toys! I got to surprise her with the Bluey’s Tree Playset and some other Bluey toys. I wish I got a picture of her face when she opened up the box because it was priceless! “Bluey!!” she exclaimed, with the biggest surprised smile on her face. Needless to say, we’re big fans of Bluey in our home.
If you’re not familiar with Bluey, it’s an adorable show for kids that follows the adventures of a lovable Blue Heeler dog who lives in Brisbane with her dad (Bandit), mum (Chilli), and little sister, Bingo. Bluey uses her limitless Blue Heeler energy to play games that unfold in unpredictable and funny ways. She brings her family and the entire neighborhood into her world of adventure and fun.
You can watch Bluey on Disney Junior, Disney +, and the Bluey YouTube channel.
Bluey’s Tree Playset is a replica of the tree in Bluey’s backyard where she has a ton of adventures. This playset allows Taya to act out some of her favorite Bluey moments and encourages her to imagine her own! Bluey’s Tree Playset is double-sided for double the fun.
The playset comes with two figures, Flower Crown Bluey and Fairy, a table and chairs, and stickers to decorate the tree with. Taya is all about flowers, so she was happy to see that Bluey had flowers on her head! Flower Crown Bluey has movable arms and a body. All of the pieces are the perfect size for Taya to play with and maneuver herself, allowing her to really dive deep into her imagination.
Taya can’t get enough of the slides and swings when we go to the playground, so to say she’s amazed by Bluey’s Tree Playset is an understatement! It’s so cute watching her get excited to make Bluey climb up the ladder, go down the slide, and swing on the swing. There’s also a hammock for Bluey to relax in!
One of the coolest parts of the playset is the secret door behind the canopy that leads to the Fairy Hideaway in the treetop. The Fairy Hideaway can also be accessed by opening the outside of the treetop.
We also got the dress-up figure 2-pack with “Play Time Bluey,” Bandit (Dad), and two accessories – a garden gnome hat and a pair of antlers. This set brings the classic “Magic Xylophone” episode to life! Taya loves using these figures along with Bluey’s Tree Playset for some extra fun playtime.
Plush toys are a favorite in our home. The Bob Bilby and Chattermax basic plush toys are the perfect sizes for her (and Jace) to cuddle and take along in the car for trips. The Bob Bilby Hand Puppet plush has been a hit with the kids – they laugh so wildly when I play with them with it. Chattermax is one of Bluey’s toys in the show, so Taya was thrilled to have her own Chattermax to snuggle with.
The SFX Chilli (mum) is absolutely adorable! Press Chilli’s tummy to activate sounds – 9 phrases and of course, the Bluey theme song. SFX Chilli has already become a favorite to snuggle during quiet time.
I love seeing Taya get to bring Bluey’s adventures to life with Bluey’s Tree Playset and other Bluey toys. They’re the perfect addition to any Bluey-loving kid’s children’s toy collection. Be sure to check them out for your little one, and don’t forget to watch Bluey with your little one on Disney Junior, Disney +, or the Bluey YouTube Channel.
