Oh August, I’m thrilled to see you…but mostly because autumn is right around the corner. I am desperately craving cooler weather! Anyone else with me?
With the summer soon coming to an end, that means that I’ll be back to part time with my nanny job, meaning that’ll open up more time for me to focus on blogging. The majority of my goals for this month will be centered around restructuring my schedule and getting into a deeper groove with blogging. Before we get into my goals for August, let’s revisit July’s goals to see where I got with them.
JULY GOALS REVISITED:
BLOG GOALS:
Post More On Instagram // I think I have done a decent job at completing this goal! I definitely want to get to the point where I can post at least 5 days a week, but I don’t want to pressure myself too much. Quality over quantity, always.
Plan A Giveaway For My 2nd Blogiversary // Check!! I teamed up with some great bloggers to put together an amazing bundle giveaway focused on all things bloggers and creatives love! The giveaway runs until Wednesday – enter here!
Write Ahead // Check! This is an ongoing goal that I have, but I have been doing really well at writing ahead lately.
PERSONAL GOALS:
Do A Cleanse With My Husband // Fail…We started to eat a little bit healthier, but it’s just hard to change your eating habits in the summer. I tried, but felt like I was going to pass out, haha. We definitely want to still do a cleanse soon, though.
Figure Out Our Budget // We’re doing better with this, but aren’t 100% there yet.
Remember Grace // This will always be tough, but I think I’ve been better at showing myself grace this past month.

BLOG GOALS:
Prepare For A New Schedule // My nanny kiddos go back to school at the end of August, so that means I’ll be back to part-time with them, giving me more blogging time during the day. I’ll have to figure out how I want to restructure my schedule to make the most of my time at home with blogging.
Reevaluate My Instagram Strategy // Since I have been focusing on posting more on Instagram, I want to try my best to come up with a posting schedule, or at least have a goal for each week. Posting schedules have never worked for me on Instagram before, because I’d rather post quality over quantity, and I feel that feeling the need to stick to a schedule would make me waiver. Hoping that I can figure out what’s best for me!
Brainstorm For The New Year // I know it’s kind of crazy to be thinking of the new year already, but I have had a few exciting ideas lately, so I want to expand on them more.
PERSONAL GOALS:
Clean The Apartment Each Day // With my husband and I both leading busy lives, our apartment can take a toll really quick. Dishes can pile up before we know it and so on. You know how it goes. I want to spend a little time each day picking up and cleaning.
Make A Doctor’s Appointment // I know this may sound silly to some, but I have been putting off going to the doctor’s for too long now, all because I hate making phone calls. But, I really have to. So here’s to hoping I don’t have an anxiety attack when I do.
Find New Music To Listen To // A huge part of self-care for me is having good music to listen to, no matter what my mood. It’s time that I explore and find new music to love and relax to.
