This post was sponsored by Minted. As always, I only share brands and products that I genuinely love and believe in, and of course, think you’ll love, as well!
Christmas cards are my favorite cards to send out each year. Last year, Michael and I quick snapped a photo of us and our cat, Juniper, for our Christmas cards. Everyone who received one loved it! We always choose to go through Minted for any of our card needs.
We have used Minted for our save-the-dates, Christmas cards, and a few other cards in the past, as well as other printing needs and artwork. Genuinely, I don’t think I can rave about Minted enough. From quality of their printing to the many unique designs that they offer, I’m always left amazed and happily stunned at the outcome of what we order through them.
Minted is a community made up of many different independent artists and designers around the world. They are illustrators and textile designers, painters and packaging designers, marketers and stay-at-home moms. Some have design degrees, and others are participating in Minted competitions to learn design for the first time. They share a deep love for creative expression, personal development, risk-taking, and most importantly, paying it forward by helping each other. This is just one of many reasons why I’m always glad to use Minted – the community that they are.
Minted only uses fine paper stock, rich inks, and crisp printing methods, because they’re honored to be incorporated into our life celebrations. Quality is what they’re all about.
Michael and I had the opportunity to go to New York City for a 1-night getaway trip. First off, it was amazing. I knew I wanted to get our Christmas photo taken in the city, because NYC is one of my favorite places in the world. We almost got our photo done the day we got there, but I’m glad we held off until the next day, as it snowed overnight and all that next day. We were soaked after our couple Christmas photos were taken, but it was so worth it for these gorgeous photos! Plus, the snow makes it so much more magical!
Now to see how I personalized our Christmas cards through Minted!
HOW TO CUSTOMIZE CHRISTMAS CARDS WITH MINTED:
STEP ONE: Browse through their designs. They have so many different design options and you can view them by preference, too. For example, I viewed “Religious Christmas Photo Cards”, as I always love focusing on the true meaning of Christmas. Once I found one I loved, I went in to customize it.
One really neat feature that Minted has, is being able to view your Christmas photo as you browse the many card designs that they offer.
I ended up choosing “Greatest of These” Christmas Photo Cards.
STEP TWO: Before you get to customizing your photos and text, you have to choose the basic options for your cards like: what kind of card (postcard, petite, classic), quantity, printing, photo layout, colors, and silhouette shape.
STEP THREE: After you’ve chosen the basics, now it’s time for the fun part – really customizing your card with photos and text. You’ll first start with the front of the card and then after saving your design, you’ll move to the back (or inside, depending on your card choice).
We went with a vertical card, with a front and back to it. For the back of the card, you can choose to have it be blank, have a message, or have a message and photo/collage. We went with the photo and text option.
STEP FOUR: After designing your card and making sure it’s just the way you want it, you have the option to try out FREE (for a limited time) recipient addressing and custom stamps. I decided to try out the recipient addressing for some of our recipients and I LOVE how the envelopes came out. They’re perfect.
I am so, so happy with how our Christmas cards came out. Once again, I’m beyond impressed with Minted. If you have any kind of cards coming up that you need to order, I encourage you to check out Minted! Baby shower invitations, save-the-dates, wedding invites, and more… they have it all!
