The older I get, the more I notice how I want to grow intentionally in every area of my life: personal growth, my marriage, my relationships, and my faith. Being intentional is a journey in of itself, but it’s a beautiful one, that’s for sure.
I have been a follower of Jesus Christ since I was 5 years old, but I didn’t full grasp the Gospel entirely until I was in the fourth grade. Ever since, it’s been a beautiful, wide ride. I have gone through joyous seasons, but I have also gone through many dry, desperate seasons. In each season, my faith is affected and stretched in different ways. I also have days where I just don’t feel like praying or digging into scripture, and if I’m being completely honest, I have been having those days too frequently lately.
I first heard of Faithbox back when they first started up. I thought it was an awesome idea for a subscription box service, but I wasn’t sure if it was the one for me. At first, I thought it was something for those who were new to the faith, but it’s not! It’s intentional and purposeful for anyone wherever they’re at in their faith journey.
Faithbox inspires daily Christian living by helping you grow in your faith, impact your community, and discover meaningful products from companies that do good. They hand-pick items from companies and organizations who respect God’s people and His creation. Everything in the box is made ethically, is eco-friendly, and has a positive impact on the world.
One of my favorite parts about Faithbox is that for every box purchased they provide three meals to hungry kids through their Rice Bowls partnership! How awesome is that? By purchasing Faithbox for yourself or a loved one, you’re also helping kids get fed the way they should.
After opening my Faithbox, I could tell right away that they chose everything intentionally. The thought and prayer they put into creating these boxes is so evident.
The Faithbox that I got was exactly the encouragement I was needing. If you follow me on Tumblr or Instagram, you already know that I’m in a really rough season of life. Everything in this box has been an extreme blessing to me.
WHAT I RECEIVED IN MY FAITHBOX:
Everyday Faith // Everyday Faith is Faithbox’s very own daily devotional. They send a version of it out with every box, to help keep your faith relevant throughout the month. Inside the Everyday Faith devotional has inspirational scriptures, challenges, and seasonal prayers. I love keeping mine in my purse so that I can have something encouraging with me at all times.
Steamm Espresso // This tasty bottled expresso packs power while only containing all natural ingredients (filtered water, organic coffee beans, organic raw cacao, organic stevia) and helping provide immunizations for children in need. It’s absolutely delicious and it comes in the coolest navy glass bottle. We all know how much of a coffee lover I am, so this was a great perk for me!
Speak Your Silence Stitch Kit // The Stitch is a zigzag, physically symbolic of your unique voice frequency. This little DIY kit has a big purpose and mission. 100% of profits from this kit fund in-person, one-on-one counseling nationwide for those directly affected by child sexual abuse.
This was the first time I had ever heard of Speak Your Silence, and I’m so glad I did. Causes like this are huge on my heart. It’s so encouraging know there are others out there doing good.
Invited Postcards // These cards are absolutely beautiful and so intentional. The overall theme of this card set is to help give a genuine gesture of thoughtfulness when someone might need it most. The cards are stunning and simplistic. Since I love handwritten notes and letters, I was so excited to get these to send out when a friend or loved one might need a note of encouragement themselves.
Uninvited by Lysa TerKeurst // My gosh, I was so excited to receive this book in my Faithbox. While I am not an avid reader, I do enjoy a deep, authentic book every once and awhile. Since I have been in a season of loneliness and have been feeling like I don’t belong where I’m at, I knew this book would be just what I needed. I’m only a chapter in and I’m loving it already.
If you’re looking for an extra pick-me-up when it comes to your faith, you’ve got to try Faithbox. Seriously, if you’ve been thinking about it, just do it! You won’t regret it.
