Hey, hey! What’s up, friends? It’s been a hot minute since my last blog post, so today I’m going to have a little coffee chat with y’all. Life has been busy but in the best way possible the past month or so.
In October, we went on our annual family vacation with my in-laws to Surfside Beach, SC. The past couple of years we’ve stayed in Myrtle Beach but we wanted to switch it up and explore somewhere new this year. We fell in love with Surfside Beach! I always enjoy going on a beach vacation during the off-season. There are always fewer people around, it’s more affordable, and the weather is still beautiful.
Our vacation rental was just a short walk (or golf cart ride) to the beach and it had a heated pool. This vacation really felt like a vacation this year. Taya and Jace are both old enough to not need me every moment of the day, so Grandma and Poppy hung out with them a ton! It was nice that Mike and I could relax and have some time together. It was also nice having the pool area because we got to spend time all together as a family. Taya and Jace loved the beach, especially playing in the sand. We caught quite a few sunrises, which were so incredibly special. We are all eager to go back again next year. 😊
The weekend after vacation, we dove into all of the fall festivities! We went apple picking and then Taya and I made an apple pie. It was so yummy! My dad came into town for a weekend visit and we had a blast with him. We took the kids to a corn maze and they enjoyed running through it. Pumpkin picking with my dad has become a bit of a tradition! My dad has come for a visit every October since Taya was a baby. It’s been really special to have our pumpkin picking with Grampy tradition to look forward to. 😊 Taya and Jace loved their wheelbarrow ride from dada at the pumpkin patch!
Fall is my favorite season so it always fills up my heart to do fall activities with the kids. We’ve gone for quite a few walks in the park with our new Mockingbird Stroller. It’s incredible! I opted for the riding board attachment, which Taya prefers way more than a stroller seat for herself. However, the Mockingbird Stroller does have a second-seat attachment, along with many other seating options! If you’re looking for a new stroller, I highly recommend checking it out. SURPRISE! I reopened my Etsy shop! This time with a new shop name… introducing, Breezey Mama Studio! I originally started my Etsy shop back in 2020, primarily selling my mobile photo presets and digital goods for bloggers and content creators. I have a refreshed focus on helping make mom life (and preparing for mom life) a bit easier.
At Breezey Mama Studio, you’ll find lifestyle mobile photo presets, birth plan editable templates, hospital bag editable templates, and much more to come. I’m excited to be back!
