Oh my soul, I cannot believe it is December already! Then again, I think I feel this way every month – this year, anyway. I love the hustle and bustle of this time of year. Alright, let’s get down to it!
My goals for November were to:
* Set up a holiday swap of some kind
* Buy Christmas gifts early
* Visit 3 new coffee shops with Michael
Did I reach my goals? I did! Well, kinda sorta. Let’s see…
// I was able to set up my very first swap through CWS, which ended up being a Sweater Swap, because who doesn’t like sweaters? I thought it would be very practical since it’s wintertime and since it’s also the holiday time, it’d bring an extra sense of joy and coziness. In just 2 days, I had 30 people sign up to be a part of the swap! I was so shocked that it filled up so quickly. I plan on doing a post on the feedback from the swap once everyone has gotten their packages.
// Now when it came to getting Christmas gifts early this year, I didn’t get as much accomplished as I wanted to, but hey! At least I got some shopping done. My goal for future years is to shop throughout the entire year so I don’t have to scramble during the holiday season. Did you get a jump start on Christmas shopping this year?
// Michael and I were only able to visit one new coffee shop this month, and a few Starbucks that we have never gone to. The new coffee shop we tried out and loved is called “Brewed Awakening,” which is located in Royersford, Pennsylvania. I got a vanilla chai latte and Michael got a caramel latte and they were so delicious. We absolutely adored the atmosphere the owners had created. It was very modern, yet antique at the same time. They had chalkboard walls all around with quotes about coffee and they also had artwork hanging up on the walls for sale. We are definitely visiting this place more often! Check out Natalie (A Tiny Traveler)’s trip to the same shop, too!

For my goals this month, I am still keeping them small and achievable as I have a lot on my plate, plus the holiday craziness. Most of my goals are wedding-focused, just a heads up. ; )
