Brewed Aesthetic // A Mood Board Series

Happy Monday, everyone! Today marks my third mood board in my mood board series and I must say I’m most excited for this one so far. Why? Well, this mood board is all about coffee! Michael and I finally found a side table that will work as our coffee bar in our apartment for now. As I’ve been looking for inspiration on how to decorate it, I’ve been drawing my attention to the most important thing about a coffee bar – the coffee.

I love all things coffee…as if you couldn’t already tell. Coffee is and will always be my happy place. From a fresh pot of hot to a bold brew of iced, I love it all.

Why do I love coffee so much? I could go on and on, and tell you a million different things from the taste, to the brew method, to the doors it opens in conversation.

Growing up I always noticed that coffee made way for open conversation. My grandparents would come over on Saturday mornings, and my family would enjoy each other’s company – it was always over coffee. You could say I was thrilled when I was finally allowed to drink coffee at age thirteen. Luckily for me, I had already acquired the taste. I was made to enjoy coffee and to believe in the conversations it makes way for.

Coffee warms the soul and opens the heart.

Coffee invites honest and authentic conversation.

That’s why I love coffee. It helps bring out the real and genuine self.
