It is now officially the holiday season and the cold weather is starting to settle in for the long haul. You’re starting to get the shivers and your bones are feeling the frigidness of the air and are longing for some warmth. Well, I don’t know about you but I am thinking a sweater swap sounds pretty good right about now. Are you with me?
– How the swap will work –
~ First, you will sign up with all of your information.
~ Once I have gotten everyone’s information, I will then start pairing people up. The person you’ll end up getting a sweater for will not be the same person you’ll be receiving one from.
~ Then I will email you individually with your swap buddy’s information so you can get to know their taste and style before buying them a sweater. I will also send out a general email to everyone participating with some specific details about when to ship out by, etc.
~ Once you’ve bought a sweater, included a note & some small goodies (if you wish), ship the package out to your buddy!
I am sure some of you might think that it sounds expensive – buying a sweater and shipping it out, BUT you’ll be receiving something in return as well, which makes it fun and worth it. The sweater doesn’t have to be expensive at all and you could even thrift one (as long as it’s clean and not worn out). You’ll be required to write a note/card along with the sweater. I know that I will probably include some hot cocoa and tiny treats with mine, so you’re welcome to do that as well, but you’re not required to. Have fun and be creative with this project! I am very, very excited for it!
