I am so glad you decided to join me here today at CWS! Today, I’m partnering with Day Owl Rosé to share with you how I put together a simple, yet chic Friendsgiving celebration to ring in the Thanksgiving season [Msg 4 21+]. There’s nothing sweeter than getting some close friends together to celebrate the year as it slowly approaches its end. This year was the first Friendsgiving that Michael and I ever hosted and it was such a great time! We love hosting and since we just recently revamped our kitchen and dining areas, we figured that a Friendsgiving was definitely in order this year.
I was so excited when we decided to host a Friendsgiving celebration that I had to go all out with the tablescape. Even though our dining table isn’t the largest, I had so many ideas pop right into my head.
If you haven’t noticed by now, I’m a huge neutrals lover and this carries into my decor taste, too. My aesthetic is a good mix of mid-century modern and bohemian – loving all things bright white and gray with bronze/gold and wood accents. Naturally, I incorporate my taste into my Friendsgiving tablescape. I used my gold color-blocked table runner, faux eucalyptus, a glass/gold candle holder, mini white pumpkins, and acorn & pinecone vase fillers to complete the tablescape.
It was a ton of fun getting to put together the tablescape area, as well as the dishes.
Day Owl Rosé is the perfect sidekick for any Friendsgiving celebration. It’s bright, crisp, and fruit-forward and it pairs perfectly with whatever the day throws at you. This rosé is made from an Italian grape (Barbera) that’s meant to be enjoyed young. If you’re all about seizing the moment and living for every day, then you’ve got to have Day Owl Rosé at your own Friendsgiving celebration!
Day Owl Rosé is a light and bright rosé and it features juicy fruit flavor thanks to the cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The fruit for Day Owl is from select vineyards in Madera County, the Central Coast, and Paso Robles.
If you’re wondering where the name “Day Owl” came from, it’s because they believe that nighttime is for catching Z’s. So, be a Day Owl! They’re all about living your life to the fullest and that’s something I stand behind, too. Get the most out of your day and enjoy the moments with a glass of rosé.
Day Owl Rosé has a very vibrant fruit taste and is super refreshing every sip. It’s perfect to accompany dinner and even dessert. 😉 It went so well with our fresh apple pie!! The lively acidity and a dry, elegant finish make for a bold bottle as alluring as the day is long.
I really love Day Owl because it embodies everything I love in a rosé – it’s crisp and really helps you enjoy your celebrations.
Can we also talk about how gorgeous their wine bottles are? They complement the tablescape so perfectly. I love them!
