My husband and I love a good race day, as it’s usually filled with friends, great food, and of course, the race! My husband has passed on his love for car races to me ever since we started dating over three years ago. It’s a ton of fun and is really interesting to learn about all that goes into racing. It’s so neat!
In order to have a great race day, you have to have great food! For us, we love to have a bunch of different snacks to pick on throughout the race. One of the reasons why I love race days so much is because they’re the perfect excuse to make my delicious crock-pot buffalo chicken dip. Buffalo chicken dip is one of my guilty pleasures, and is one I’ll never be able to give up. It makes me happy that all of my friends look forward to and rave about my dip! Sometimes they even text me to tell me that they’re craving it. Now, that’s how you know you’ve made a good dip.
Today I am going to be sharing my simple recipe for making this savory crock-pot buffalo chicken dip. One of my favorite things about this snack is that you can completely make it your own. Everything’s always more special when you can put your own twist on it, right?
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 2 8 oz. packages of cream cheese
- 2 12 oz. cans of chunk chicken, drained
- 1 packet of ranch dip mix
- 1-1.5 cups of shredded cheddar cheese (I’m a cheese lover, so I went with triple cheddar)
- 1 cup of Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
The total prep time for this recipe is just 5-10 minutes if you’re following my recipe step-by-step. It’s seriously so simple that anyone can put this recipe together. Some people like to use rotisserie chicken in place of the canned chunk chicken, and if you do that it can take you an extra 15 minutes or so. Again, make it your own!

I don’t know about you, but when I eat spicy food I often times get a bit of heartburn. The same happens to my husband, as well. With us loving spicy and hot foods, it’s really important to us to have Nexium 24HR on hand at all times. Nexium 24HR is the #1 selling frequent heartburn brand.* They have new easy to swallow tablets that go down easy whenever you need one. Nexium 24HR is all day, all night frequent heartburn protection, but isn’t for immediate relief, so you should take it before eating anything that will give you heartburn. May take 1 to 4 days for full effect. Use as directed for 14 days to treat frequent heartburn. Do not take for more than 14 days or more often than every 4 months unless directed by a doctor.
It was so easy to find Nexium 24HR right on the end of the medicine aisle at Walmart, as well as everything I needed to complete my recipe. It’s a one stop shop!
It’s such a relief to not have to deal with heartburn anymore, especially since I cook my crock-pot buffalo chicken dip quite often. Be sure to save the next time you purchase Nexium 24HR by grabbing a coupon!
So, if you’re a race day junkie like my husband and myself, you’ve got to try out this crock-pot buffalo chicken dip and be sure to have Nexium 24HR as your sidekick! If you’re not the host of the race day or party, be sure to keep Nexium 24HR on hand in your car or purse. It’s a necessity if you love spicy and hot foods, or just plain experience heartburn on a regular basis. It’s a lifesaver.
