Happy December, everyone! It’s officially the most wonderful time of the year. I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving last week. I’m kind of freaking out that Christmas is just a few weeks away now, and I’m sure I’m probably not alone in that, right? Even though it’s the final month of the year, I still have some goals to accomplish.
I have promised myself to not overwhelm myself with tons of goals this month, as I want to enjoy the time of year and spend my time relaxing with my husband, friends, and family when we’re home for Christmas.
BLOG GOALS:
Monetizing // As most of you know, it’s one of my dreams to be able to make money while blogging full-time. I easily put in full-time hours into blogging already, but I don’t make anywhere close to even a part-time income from it. Blogging is a lot more work than people think. You have to create content, edit photos, network, reach out to companies and more. It’s hard work, but I love it. I finally got a sponsored post, so I’m hoping I’ll get more opportunities to prove myself now.
Secret Project // I wish I could just tell you all now about my secret project that I have in the works, but you’re going to have to wait some more. This secret project is taking a lot of preparing for, but I’m thrilled for it! Bloggers, you’re going to love it. That’s the only hint you get for now!

PERSONAL GOALS:
Christmas Shopping // I wanted to get all of my shopping finished last month, but life happened. I’m almost finished though! I am looking forward to wrapping them all and making them all pretty and darling.
Decorating // Michael and I decided not to go all-out in decorating for the season this year, as decorations are expensive. But, I caved and got some things for my office and we set up the Christmas tree. We’ll do much more next year!
Celebrate Advent // Advent is beautiful. It is a time to reflect and recognize with clarity that God has a great plan for history. It is a time to put our whole confidence in God’s promises. I love this article on 7 Reasons to Celebrate Advent.
I hope you all decide to relax into the season, instead of getting caught up in the hustle and bustle. Let’s remember what this season is all about.
