Hey there, June. I can just feel it in my bones that you’re going to be a good, good month. Let’s begin this adventure, shall we?
I’m just going to stop saying how fast this year is flying by, okay? Okay. But for real! I am super excited for the month of June and I just have a feeling it’s going to be a good, productive month for me. Before sharing some of my goals for June, let’s revisit my goals for May. Accountability is important to me and my growth, so let’s dig in!

Publish More Style Posts // I didn’t achieve this goal like I wanted to, but I did share the perfect tee to wear on any kind of weekend adventure! I promise there are some great style posts coming up this month!
Cultivate Regular Email Newsletters // I have given a ton of thought of what I want to do with my email newsletters, but still haven’t figured out what I want to do with them 100% yet. I’ll be sending a survey to my current subscribers soon! If you’re interested in receiving my newsletter, sign up here!
Make Business Cards // Le sigh, did not get here. I’m going to be real – a ton of bills popped up out of nowhere, soooooo boo. I WILL get them done soon.
PERSONAL GOALS:
Work Out Regularly // Didn’t get quite where I wanted to with this, but I am signing up for the gym and have an accountability partner! I did start dancing again this past weekend, as I teach young dancers at my church, and wow…I didn’t realize how out of shape I was.
Get Out Of The Apartment // I succeeded here!! I was actually super extroverted and adventurous this month. I’m very proud of myself.

Grow My Instagram // While yes, I am constantly learning to grow all of my social media channels, this summer I really want to focus on (hopefully) skyrocketing my following and engagement. I love using Instagram as a small extension from my blog, but even more so to share encouragement and bits of my life. While I’d love to reach 5k by the end of the month, I’m going to aim for 4.5k since Instagram is tricky and is still undergoing algorithm changes. Interested in following me? Go On Regular Photoshoots // I have shared many times through this half of the year that I really want to work on my photography skills. Well, now that it’s nice out all of the time, I plan on going out for regular photoshoots. This will make way for more style posts, which I am thrilled about! I also want to start taking portraits, so that I can become more diverse, instead of just shooting staged photos and such. We’ll see where this passion goes!
(Possibly) Revamp Sponsorship Program // I have made it clear that I was super passionate about my sponsorship program and even gave tips on how to have a successful program. Sadly, I took down my program that I hosted through Passionfruit Ads, as they are currently stealing money from tons and tons of bloggers. Long-story-short, they continue to charge others once they’ve canceled. Another reason why I took down the program was because I needed a break. I have a ton of family and personal situations going on, and I didn’t want to neglect my sponsors. While I was planning on bringing my program back and just going through PayPal, now I am not 100% sure if that’s something I’m still wanting to do. Hopefully at the end of this month I’ll have a set answer.
PERSONAL GOALS:
Wake Up Earlier // Just the other day I was tweeting about how I love mornings, but my body literally feels so sick if I’m awake before 7:00am. It’s a struggle sometimes. Well, my nanny kids are going to be out of school for the summer in a little over a week, which means I get to wake up early almost everyday this summer. I’m going to try and ease myself into it and take my friend Daisy’s advice on doing 15 minute intervals.
Lose 5-7 lbs. // Now that June has officially creeped up on me, I really need to kick my butt in gear and start to better myself! I’d really love to lose at least 5 lbs. this month, so here’s to trying to find ways to curb my bad cravings and finding motivation to workout when I don’t want to!
Try Out Periscope // Since getting my new phone for my birthday in March, I have been wanting to try out Periscope. I’m not sure if it’ll be for me, as I’m naturally an introvert, but outgoing online. If I was to try out Periscope, what would you like me to chat about? Should I talk about life or blogging? A mix?
