I can’t believe we’re in November already! Life has been flying by the past few months, especially with our house-buying process. If you missed it, we closed on our first home last Friday! YAY! We are so thrilled!
OCTOBER GOALS: REVISITED
BLOG GOALS:
Create Content Ahead Of Time When I Can // I did pretty well at the start of the month, but towards the end, I started to cram.
Create A Pinterest Pinning Schedule Again // Not completely. I was more active this past month, but I still need to come up with a schedule.
Develop My Email List // A work in progress, for sure. I have been able to come up with some ideas to put into action in a few weeks.
PERSONAL GOALS:
Continue To Lose Weight & Eat Healthier // Yes and no, haha. I have lost weight thanks to stress, but haven’t been able to eat as healthy as I’d like to. That’s the struggle with moving, though! We got our new fridge delivered to our new house last week, so I’m hoping to cook more at home soon.
Take Time To Rest // Yes! Even though I’ve been busy painting, packing, and closing on our home, I did have a few self-care days.
Enjoy The Process // Always a work in progress, but God’s definitely opened my eyes more over the past month in learning how to enjoy every process more.
NOVEMBER GOALS:
BLOG GOALS:
Start Pitching For The Holidays // I haven’t worked on any pitches over the past month since we were buying our house. If you’ve ever bought a house, you know how crazy and unpredictable everything can be. I’m starting to pitch for the holidays and some more things for the home now. I’m really excited for some possible collaborations that I’m hoping to land this season.
Aside from pitching brands directly, I’m really hoping to score at least 6 sponsored posts through blogging networks. The thing is, I only apply to opportunities that align with my brand and passion, so sometimes it’s hard to score what I’m hoping to. That’s okay, though. There’s reward in only pursuing opportunities that reflects your brand. Never sell out.

Start Setting Dreams & Goals For 2018 // I know, I know – I need to enjoy the rest of 2017, but my blog is my business, so planning ahead is important. I already have some goals that I want to reach. Over the next two months, I’ll be establish a plan of action and points to hit along the way. I’m excited for the future of Coffee With Summer!
With just having moved, my main goal is to get back working on not only sponsored work, but non-sponsored content as well. Is there a topic or post that you’ve been wanting to see from me? If it fits in with the focus of my blog – authenticity, intentionality, blogging/social media, self-care, or style – let me know! Fill out this short form with your recommendation! 🙂
Shoot Multiple Outfits Every Photoshoot // From it getting dark out super early to rain always deciding to pour down on my husband’s days off, it’s been extremely hard to get shoots in. Never mind the craziness that comes with buying a house and moving in. My goal is to plan out every photoshoot more intentionally. Planning my outfits ahead of time and planning to shoot at least 3 at a time are two of the main ways I plan to be more intentional.
PERSONAL GOALS:
Start Unpacking // This one is a clear given goal, haha. I had all the motivation in the world to pack up and now it’s time to find the same motivation to unpack, once we get all of our things into our house. I know this will take some time, but one perk of working from home is that I can work unpacking into my work schedule.
Start Developing My Office // One of our must-haves for our home was for me to have a space to make my home office. Working from home, it’s important for me that I’m constantly inspired. A large part of my inspiration comes from having a clean and encouraging workspace. I already have my crisp, white walls painted – now I just need all of the decor items I’ve pinned to my Pinterest board, haha. Little by little! I’m really looking forward to crafting my creative suite. 😉
Possibly Plan A LipSense Party // If you don’t already know, I’m an Independent Distributor for SeneGence, and for now my main focus is LipSense. I was such a skeptic of this long-lasting lipstick before I started using LipSense back in January. I ended up giving it a try and WOW. I was blown away. It truly is long-lasting, waterproof, and smudge-proof.

Anyway, I am thinking of possibly throwing a LipSense party if we’re settled into our new house in time for when I’d like to throw it. It’d be a great way to educate the ladies in my area all about LipSense, expose myths about it, and to have them sample colors.
P.S. If you aren’t already subscribed to “The Brew” (my weekly newsletter), you want to hop on that now! I have some exciting perks for those who are a part of my exclusive crew, and I want you to get in on them, too!
What are some of YOUR goals for November? Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? Are you working on a new project? Tell me all about it!
