Okay, it feels like just yesterday that I was writing February’s happenings post and I’m freaking out at how fast this year is already flying by. Anyone else with me? haha!
^ this is my *YAY, it’s Friday* face 😉
PERSONAL LIFE:
Life has been all over the place for me lately. I am carrying so much on my shoulders – it’s insane. My husband is currently the Assistant Creative Director at our church so you can imagine how crazy Easter time is. I’d go as far to say that Easter time for the church is extremely busier than Christmas is! 100%. Our church is doing basically an entire week-long event for Easter and it’s a TON of work for the creative department. Like, a TON. It’s been very stressful for Michael which means it’s a bit stressful for me, as well. I’m his wife so it’s part of my job to be there for him to lean on in crazy times like this. 🙂 I’m so very proud of him, though. Despite all of the pressure, he always rises above.
In addition to our jam-packed Easter week for church, where I’ll be serving in our church’s cafe, I’m also going away for a few days. Each year, I have the opportunity to judge the dance categories for District Fine Arts. Fine Arts is a festival that students in youth groups nationwide participate in to grow their gifts in the areas of art, music, dance, drama, media, among many other categories. This will be my 5th year judging at the District level for dance and I am SO excited! I used to coach but all of my dancers have graduated are in college now. Bittersweet! But, I’m glad that I’m still adjudicating.
I was a dancer my entire life so I love being able to use my gift in a different way now… to pour into and build up the future generation! It’s awesome. I’ll share some sneak peeks on Instagram Stories when I’m there.
BLOGGING:
Blog life has been pretty good lately! I have landed some really awesome opportunities that I’m excited to share with you in the future. I’m also working hard on brainstorming more content and pitching some of my absolute favorite brands. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for CWS!
My e-book, LEVERAGE, is a hit! A bunch of bloggers have already taken the dive and grabbed my e-book to take their lifestyle blogs to the next level. I’m getting such great feedback and it makes my heart SO happy. It was a lot of work creating, writing, and designing LEVERAGE, so the fact others are already seeing growth from taking that next step means the world to me.

CURRENTLY…
WISHING // That it would STOP snowing already! Literally, the past 4 weeks now we have gotten a winter storm. We’ve easily gotten over 50 inches of snow the past month and guess what… we got more snow this week. If you’ve been wondering why there haven’t been any spring fashion content or much fashion content lately… this is why. I need spring. I need spring now.
WATCHING // I’m still watching Grey’s Anatomy. I started it just over a month ago and I’m already in Season 8… well into the season, too. LOL! Other than Grey’s, Michael and I have been loving Seal Team, Bull, and Blindspot!
DRINKING // Wandering Bear Coffee’s delicious cold brew on tap! Wandering Bear sent me some of their cold brew on tap a few weeks ago to try out and friends, it’s amazing. It’s the perfect midday refresher, especially during long weeks. They also have cold brew on the go which is great for when you need to run errands or go to work. If you’re a coffee lover like me, you’ve got to try their cold brew!
SCHEDULING // My content for the next quarter and a tiny getaway with Michael. After the Easter craziness is done, Michael and I want to book an Airbnb somewhere for a couple days so we can finally have some quality time together.
EXCITED THAT // I’m going home to Massachusetts for a good week in April. I’m going up for my nephew’s 1st birthday party – I can’t believe he’s going to be 1 already! It’ll be nice to see some friends that I haven’t seen in a few months/years, as well.
HAPPY THAT // I’m still alive despite all of the stress I’m under, haha. For real, though. I have been having some really rough days and I have been shocked that I have been able to pull through them. I’m always super thankful for my husband especially in times like these where we can lean on each other more. I’m also glad that God is always with me and is for me.
IGNORING // The fact that we still have an entire storage unit full of stuff. A lot of the furniture in the storage unit are pieces that won’t work in our home now, so we have to figure out how to sell/get rid of them. We also have a huge portion of our kitchen equipment stored away still… it’s a struggle, haha. We will get to it after Easter’s craziness.
WEARING // When I’m not cozied up in the coziest items ever that I shared on the blog last week, I’m wearing cute, springy clothes. Well, I should say attempting to wear cute, springy clothes haha. It’s hard to do so 100% when there’s snow still on the ground. But friends, I am so excited to wear warm weather clothes, like this adorable off the shoulder top. This top is sold out but I have (affiliate) linked some similar ones, that I’m also eyeing up, below for you!
I don’t know about you… but I am so glad to say “PEACE OUT” to this week. It’s been a doozy, haha. I seriously can’t wait until I can catch a little break from how hectic life has been.
