Heya, friends!! If you thought I forgot about sharing my Nashville Travel Guide… you have little faith in me. 😉 I was holding off a couple of weeks to share today’s post so I didn’t inundate you with all thing Nashville all at once.
I got to visit Nashville for the first time ever at the end of last month and friends, I fell completely head over heels for Nashville. From the southern hospitality everywhere I went to just how gorgeous the city is, it’s official – it has stolen my heart. Since Michael and I were only there for a few days, we didn’t get to do and see everything we wanted to, but we did get a ton checked off of the to-do list that we had. And everything else we didn’t get to do or see? Well, those are just reasons to go back someday. I’m hoping that someday is very soon!

I’m going to take you through our trip in order of what we did everything in. Just a heads up: Everything is very food & drink-focused, haha! I’m saving the murals for another post. Let’s dive in!
NASHVILLE TRAVEL GUIDE – FOOD & DRINK + THINGS TO DO:
The Pharmacy Burger Parlor & Beer Garden // We flew into Nashville and arrived in the late afternoon so by the time we got to our hotel, we were starving! We both agreed that we wanted burgers so we decided to give The Pharmacy a try. We are SO glad that we did! I got the Pharmacy Burger and it was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It was huge, too. Believe it or not… I ate the whole thing, haha! Their fries were delicious, as well. I’m so mad that I didn’t take a photo of our food because it looked amazing and tasted even better! To drink, I got the Southern Grist and it was soooo refreshing. It had notes of strawberry – seriously, so good!
I wish we went a little bit earlier because it was getting pretty dark when we arrived, so I didn’t get to take as many photos as I wanted. But, they have the best patio area I have ever seen. It has multiple levels to it with string lights. It’s honestly magical. Definitely, a must-try place if you love a good burger!
The Pharmacy is located at 731 McFerrin Ave, Nashville.
Jason Aldean’s Kitchen & Rooftop Bar // We met some people in our hotel lobby and they offered for us to go out to Jason Aldean’s restaurant downtown, so we decided to give it a go. This place has multiple levels inside which was really neat, but we went straight up to the rooftop bar. It was the perfect night to have some drinks and hang out on the rooftop. The nightlight was a ton of fun! If you get to experience this place, you won’t regret it!
Jason Aldean’s Kitchen & Rooftop Bar is located at 307 Broadway, Nashville.
Biscuit Love // The Uber driver we had from the airport to the hotel told us we HAD to check out Biscuit Love at some point during our trip, so naturally, we went there for brunch our first full day in Nashville. Friends. If you’re ever in Nashville and you’re looking for delicious southern food… THIS is the place to try out! Oh my gosh, I honestly don’t know where to begin but our meal at Biscuit Love was our favorite of our entire trip. I got biscuits and gravy and oh my heavens, their biscuits were the best I’ve ever had. They were so soft and flaky, and literally melted in my mouth. The gravy was just as good. As I’m typing this out, I am now wanting to fly back just so I can get some more!
Michael got their Southern Benny but with fried chicken instead of ham. Needless to say, he was so glad he got that for his meal. I tried a piece of the chicken and it really was so good!
Biscuit Love has multiple locations but we went to the location in The Gulch – 316 11th Avenue South, Nashville. They’re open from 7 am – 3 pm.
Barista Parlor Golden Sound // It’s no secret that I’m a proud coffee snob. Coffee was pretty much my top priority on our trip because I knew there were a ton of amazing coffee shops to try out in Nashville. Barista Parlor was at the top of my list. They have 3 different locations throughout Nashville but we went with the location in Golden Sound in The Gulch. We actually walked over after our brunch at Biscuit Love.
The second I walked into this coffee shop, I almost cried happy tears. No joke. I was emotional! It has been on my travel list for years now and the entire set up with the coffee bar centered in the middle of the room is literally my vision for when I have my own coffee shop one day. The experience was wonderful.
I went with an iced latte and Michael tried their soda coffee. Both were refreshing and delicious! Can we also talk about how adorable their glasses are? If they sold them, I would’ve grabbed a ton of them!
Barista Parlor GS is located at 610 Magazine Street, Nashville.
Slim & Husky’s Pizza Beeria // Michael and I are huge pizza lovers, even though he’s allergic to cheese (yes, just cheese – he’s not lactose intolerant lol). That just means we both get to have our own pizzas! Slim & Husky’s is a counter-serve pizzeria. You stand in line and you get to have them custom make your pizza exactly how you want it. Winning!
I’m a huge fan of thin-crusted pizza so this place was perfect for me. It was so good! I got a pepperoni pizza and then had barbeque dipping sauce on the side. SO good!
The Slim & Husky’s location we went to was 911 Buchanan Street, Nashville.
OUTFIT DETAILS:
Three Brothers Coffee // I wanted to try Three Brothers Coffee for two reasons: 1. I love exploring different coffee shops. 2. They have a fun mural outside the shop. I didn’t get any photos inside because there were a ton of people there but I really loved their overall vibe. It’d definitely be a coffee shop I’d frequent if I lived in Nashville! I ordered an iced latte and it was super smooth. Sometime lattes can have a bitter taste to them but this was not the case at Three Brothers Coffee. It was definitely one of the smoothest lattes I’ve ever had. Michael is a huge cold brew fan so that’s what he ordered. I’m typically not a huge cold brew fan – it really has to be made with care in order for me to like it. Cold brew is oftentimes really bitter but it doesn’t have to be. Three Brothers Coffee 100% had one of the best cold brews I’ve ever tasted.
Three Brothers Coffee is located at 2813 West End Avenue, Nashville.
Five Daughters Bakery // Donuts are life, my friends. After grabbing our morning coffee, we headed over to Five Daughters Bakery for some sweet treats. It was so, so hard to decided on which donuts we wanted to try because they all looked so good. I ended up going with a strawberry frosted and Michael chose one of the 100 layered glazed donuts. We both had had of both donuts because sharing is caring, especially when it comes to donuts. The staff was so upbeat and fun! We can’t wait to get back here!
They also had some fun photo opportunities on the property which I loved, of course.
Five Daughters Bakery has a couple of locations in the Nashville area but we visited the off of 12th Ave South at 1110 Caruthers Ave, Nashville.
Topgolf // Naturally, Mike and I have friends located everywhere throughout the US, so we met up with some friends for some lunch and fun at Topgolf. We had never been to (or heard of) Topgolf before our friends recommended that we go there to meet up. As someone who’s not too into golf or anything like that, I was skeptical. Afterward, I was SO glad that we went! Mike has become obsessed with this place and honestly, I’m even excited to go back again someday.
Topgolf has 3 different levels of tons and tons of bays where you can play fun point-scoring golf games with friends. Each golf ball has a microchip in it that tracks where it lands. If it lands in one of the targets, you get points. There are a ton of different games for all levels so it’s really fun for everyone!
They also have upscale bar food and drinks, great music, and more! I got the boneless buffalo wings and they were delicious. We can’t wait to go back!
Amerigo Italian Restaurant // After our last full day in Nashville we were so tired and didn’t want to go downtown for dinner, so we tried the Amerigo Italian restaurant just a block away from our hotel. We are both huge fans of Italian food… hello, who doesn’t love pasta? I got their lasagna and oh my heavens, it was delicious. It was the perfect place to go out to eat when you’re wanting a low key but a really nice time.
Amerigo Italian is located at 1920 West End Ave, Nashville.
Amelia’s Flower Truck // I have seen so many of my blog friends visit Amelia’s Flower Truck when they’re in Nashville and while I wanted to go get some fresh flowers and take photos, it wasn’t practical for this trip. I don’t think the flowers would’ve survived our flight back home. But! I was so happy to at least walk by and look quickly at their little flower truck. It is so darling and I can’t wait to experience the whole thing next time.
The truck moves around the city every day and they announce on their Instagram where they’ll be in the city and at what time. So fun!
